This course will explore maths relevant to the workplace. Looking at how businesses need to be aware of income and expenditure to be sustainable.
Who is the course aimed at?
Staffordshire residents aged 19+ recovering from poor mental health; typically anxiety and depression, who have not already got a Maths Level 2 qualification
Entry Requirements
Learners must not already have a level 2 Maths Qualification. They must be aged 19+ and a resident of Staffordshire
Course Content
Finance skills for the workplace. Costing and pricing, mean, median, mode, calculating the break even point and cost of overheads.

Face to face learning with small groups
Learner Support
From the start we will work with you to identify what support you may need. This may be reading, writing or practical skills. The staff and volunteers are all there to support you.
Learner Assessments
Ongoing feedback from tutors and assessing task completion and development through observations
Course Materials
All course materials are provided free of charge.
What can learners do next/progress onto?
Learners may progress onto other Multiply maths courses or community learning courses to meet the needs of the individual.
