Is managing your household budget proving a challenge with the rising cost of living? Finding it difficult to make sense of your personal finances? Our Nifty Numbers course is designed to help you better understand budgeting, money and ways to save.
Who is the course aimed at?
Staffordshire residents aged 19+ who do not have a Level 2 Maths qualification or equivalent. Individuals who may want to develop numeracy skills for work or progression. Individuals that want to brush up and develop their numeracy skills for everyday life.

Course content
The course covers the following – Managing Money, Shopping on a Budget, Recipes & Cooking on a Budget, Making it Through The Month, Security Scams & Online Banking, Price Comparison & Money Terms
Learning methods
Learning is delivered face to face in small group settings
Learning Support
Support will be provided by the tutor throughout the sessions
Course assessments
Objectives will be set prior to starting the course to include what the learner would like to achieve by attending the course. On completing the course, this will then be discussed with the learner to see if this has been achieved

Throughout your course you will be provided with information and advice about other learning opportunities available for you. Different progressions routes such as training courses, volunteering and employment will be discussed prior to and throughout the course and tailored to each learners needs.
