Multiply – Maths Gaps: Job Progression

Do you have gaps in your maths knowledge that are preventing you from progressing at work? Do you find parts of the job challenging?

Then sign up for our FREE 12-week online learning programme which uses artificial intelligence to improve your gaps in knowledge.

Who is the course aimed at?

Staffordshire residents aged 19 or over and don’t have a maths GCSE grade C (or equivalent).  Do you have gaps in your maths knowledge that are preventing you progressing at work? Do you find parts of the job challenging? Then sign up for for our 12-week online learning programme which uses artificial intelligence to improve your gaps in knowledge. Whilst working at your own pace, our dedicated team of teachers will be on hand to provide support and check in with you online where needed, ensuring you brush up on the key skills needed.

Course content

Learners will be given an online learning account on Century Tech, where they will take a short diagnostic check of current knowledge. Based on this check, Century Tech will use artificial intelligence to set a bespoke pathway of study, ensuring the things you are learning are personal to you. Learners will complete a series of learning activities along with mini-checks on knowledge as well as having access to online support from one of our qualified team of teachers.

Additional learning support is available and can be arranged as part of the enrolment process.

Course assessments

No formal assessment of learning is included other than supportive input from your teacher and a self-reflection at the end, measuring your confidence in the covered topics.

Learning materials

Learners will be provided with a Century Tech account upon sign up to the course. Access to a PC/tablet and Wifi/internet is required

What can learners do next after this course?

You will be able to progress onto one of our community based basic maths skills courses or one of our functional skills courses, that will lead to certification and potential progress within the world of work.

This an online course, which you can access from your own home, or from a computer in your local library.

Are there any fees?

This course is fully funded so there are no course fees.

Who delivers this course?

All of our courses are delivered by expert local learning partners across Staffordshire.  This specific course is delivered by South Staffordshire College.
