Multiply-Fast Track to Functional Numeracy

Who is the course aimed at?

Staffordshire residents aged 19+ who do not have a level 2 maths qualification or equivalent.

This course is aimed at individuals who want to improve their numeracy skills, build their confidence in maths, and work towards achieving a formal Level 2 maths qualification. The course is suitable for those who may have struggled with maths in the past or feel unsure about their abilities. It is also appropriate for learners who need to develop practical math skills for everyday use, such as budgeting and problem-solving.

The course is designed to be interactive and engaging, making it suitable for learners who prefer a hands-on learning approach. By the end of the course, learners will have gained a solid understanding of key numerical concepts and practical math skills, which can be applied in real-life situations. Course content

This course is designed to build confidence and develop essential numeracy skills, leading to a Level 2 qualification in maths. Learners will gain a solid understanding of numerical concepts. Learning methods

Course assessments

Throughout the course, learning will be assessed to help everyone understand how well they are progressing. Tutors will provide clear instructions and criteria for each assessment, so you know what is expected of you. They will also provide feedback on performance to help learners identify areas where they can improve, and this will all be documented in an individual learning plan. Assessments are designed to help learning and achievement, so don’t be afraid to ask for help if needed.

Learning materials

Most learning materials will be made available, however bringing a notebook, pen, pencil, ruler and calculator would be beneficial.
