Multiply – Basic Maths for Life and Work: Online Flex Roll On /Roll Off

The course is a supportive opportunity to discover how developing your numeracy will support you in life and work. This course will be delivered online, with an online maths platform and tutor support via MS Teams.

Who is the course aimed at?

The course is aimed at Staffordshire residents aged 19+ This course will look at maths that supports you in life and work. This course is delivered online.

Entry Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements.

Course content

This course will look at maths that supports you in life and work, such as budgeting, fluency in numbers, data graphs and charts, percentages. It also has some flexibility to look at topics the group need. On full completion of the course each learner will receive a £25 Amazon or supermarket voucher plus a free take home resource pack. You will be taught with a tutor and also via an online maths platform. The course length is 12 hours and can be completed in a flexible programme..

Learning methods

You will be taught online with a friendly and supportive teacher. You will be sent a link via email prior to the course.

Learning Support

During the session you will complete an informal maths activity to help the teacher understand your numeracy needs.

Course assessments

There is no formal assessment on the course, you will complete a Learning Plan to support your progress.

Learning materials

You will need to be able to access a digital device, emails and an online platform. Full support will be available to you to help you access and use the online platform. Individual specific needs will be discuss at the start of the course.

What can learners do next after this course?

During the session you and your teacher will explore progression options depending on your individual needs. There will be the opportunity to progress onto further Multiply courses and Functional Skills Maths.

Dates, times and locations:

Online delivery only. 

This 12 hour course is delivered flexibly so learners can complete sessions in their own time and in accordance with group needs.

This course is fully funded so there are no course fees.

All of our courses are delivered by expert local learning partners across Staffordshire. This specific course is delivered by Newcastle and Stafford Colleges Group
