The course is aimed at Staffordshire residents aged 19+ who are looking to start their journey to improving their Maths skills.

There are no formal entry requirements for this course.
Course Content
Money management is about meeting expenses, setting aside money for emergencies, and saving for the future. A budget helps you spend and save wisely. The course teaches basic maths skills to help you budget.
Learning Methods
You will be taught face to face in the workplace by a friendly and experienced assessor
Learner Support
Classes are small to ensure your teacher can provide you with the help and support you need to enable you to confidently access the class learning materials. Individual specific needs will be discussed at the start of the course.
Course Assessments
To ensure you are on track and your understanding of the course, your teacher will use verbal questions, observations and an individual learning plan to monitor your progress against the course outcomes.
Learning Materials
We will provide the workbooks. You will need to bring a pen and paper to take notes and to be able to complete the workbooks during the course.
What can learners do next/progress onto?
During the course you and your teacher will explore progression options depending on your individual needs. Learners can progress onto an internal NSCG College offer such as Essential Digital Skills run by NSCG or be signposted to other local providers and programmes such as Multiply
