Chase Aqua Rural Enterprise (CARE) provides community mental health and wellbeing support, personal development and vocational skills training for vulnerable adults (19+) of all needs and abilities. Our staff team is well qualified and has many years’ experience. They encourage participation and positive outcomes for everyone.

CARE is based in a peaceful, countryside farm setting in Penkridge. Everyone is made welcome, respected, supported as individuals.  We help build self-confidence, self-esteem, social skills. We focus on improving life skills – digital, numeracy, English – embedded in practical, purposeful activities that build positive, sustainable life changes.

CARE Community Learning courses are successful and popular, supporting many across Staffordshire with ‘Wellbeing and Independence; English, Maths, Digital skills; STEM and Vocational skills; Community and Family Progression’.  We work alongside partners and clients to develop courses that are current, responding to new and existing needs.  Activities include art and craft, traditional/seasonal countryside crafts, watercolours, sketching and drawing, organic art outdoors, animal care, gardening – flower, veggie and wildlife gardening, the environment – woodcraft/willow weaving, forestry studies, practical skills – upcycling/recycling, gardening/landscaping projects, cookery and healthy lifestyles.

Courses are held at CARE in Penkridge, community venues in Stafford, Cannock Chase, South Staffs and on-line too.
