Multiply – Managing your Money and Well Being

The course is to support vulnerable workforce that have low level income in ways they can maximise their money and make better choices around their diet and well being.

Who is the course aimed at?

The course is aimed at vulnerable workforce that are currently on national minimum wage with our aim to support them to understand their incomings versus outgoings and ways to support them to stretch their money.

Entry requirements

To be in a current role with the company and want to maximise their money and support well being through better choices in a financial and health capacity.

Course content

Numeracy skills focusing within their personal life to support maximising money. This will consist of support and breakdowns regarding payslips, tax queries, insurances, rent/mortgage, credit cards, bank loans – then moving onto life choices around well being: dietary requirements, sleep patterns, nutritional values and how to save money making your own food versus meal deals or takeaways.

Learning methods

All delivery is face to face classroom based and will be conducted at their site of work. A mixture of presentation of information/content, group challenges, break out sessions, Q&A and fact finding tasks. This all supports engagement but also various learning styles.

Learning Support

Training room booked throughout the delivery of course. Learner individual support needs to be assessed at the start of the course to address those needs and ensure all learners are able to take part in sessions.

Course assessments

Assess all learners at start using a self assessment rating against the course objectives, learners will also have the opportunity to set personalised goals.

Learning materials

Laptops to present via the TV monitors, paper based learning material, paper based workbooks, pens, markers, training material and activity equipment.

What can learners do next after this course?

Progress onto higher level intervention B or move onto another intervention to support their progress within the business.
